Hi!  I'm Terry Brunholtz
I'm a wildlife and nature photographer from Oklahoma, specializing in backyard wildlife photography, but photographing all manner of wildlife throughout the state and the country.
When I'm not engaged in photography, I love growing, planting, and enjoying gardening with native plants, many of which appear in my photos of wildlife.  I also love getting out and scouting and photographing locally for Bald Eagles and other wildlife with my wife of 50 years.
Some of my work has been printed in Outdoor Oklahoma magazine, produced by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, and I have been featured in their e-newsletter, and on their television program, as well as on a local Tulsa TV news channel.
Because I love our wild lands and the wildlife that inhabits them, any profit I make on my photography after expenses is donated to various organizations to be used for conservation efforts.
I hope you enjoy browsing my gallery of fine art wildlife photography as much as I enjoyed capturing these images.  It's my belief extraordinary wildlife experiences don't begin thousands of miles from home.  They begin the moment we slow down long enough to notice the lives unfolding around us every day.
My hope is not to photograph rare animals, but is instead to reveal the beauty, behavior, and individuality of the wildlife that shares our neighborhoods, gardens, and back yards.  Every animal has a story; my hope is to simply be present when it chooses to tell it.  The photos you see here are unaltered by AI processes; what you see is pretty much the way I shot it.
If these photographs inspire someone to step outside, look a little longer, and discover the wonder waiting in their own back yard, then they have accomplished what I hoped they would.
Let's find the extraordinary in the ordinary...one life at a time....
Thank you for visiting my site.  I would love to hear from you!
